Job Title: Benefits Director
Location: Houston TX 77024 (Hybrid)

Schedule: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a highly experienced Benefits Director to provide strategic leadership across a comprehensive benefits portfolio. This role operates at a senior level partnering with executive leadership while overseeing day-to-day benefits operations. The ideal candidate will quickly assess the current benefits landscape and drive key initiatives with minimal ramp-up time.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design implementation and administration of comprehensive benefits programs
- Oversee health and welfare plans including medical dental and vision offerings
- Manage financial benefits programs such as retirement plans (401k/pension) deferred compensation and financial wellness initiatives
- Develop and align a cohesive total rewards strategy across the organization
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and key stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional discussions on benefits structure cost optimization and vendor performance
- Manage vendor relationships including performance evaluation and compliance oversight
- Lead complex RFP processes including vendor selection evaluation negotiation and implementation
- Oversee the full lifecycle of annual enrollment including communications employee engagement platform management and post-enrollment auditing
- Identify opportunities to enhance benefits delivery operational efficiency and overall employee experience
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Human Resources or a related field (Masters preferred)
- Minimum 10 years of experience managing benefits operations in a complex organization
- Extensive experience with both health & welfare and financial benefits programs
- Strong knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements related to benefits administration
- Proven ability to present to and influence executive leadership
- Demonstrated success leading strategic initiatives and cross-functional collaboration
- Hands-on experience with annual enrollment processes including auditing and reconciliation
- Direct experience managing benefits RFP processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Benefits Professional (CBP)
- Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS)
- Experience within healthcare systems or large multi-divisional organizations
