Job Title: Benefits Director Location: Houston TX 77024 (Hybrid) Duration: 13 Weeks Schedule: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a highly experienced Benefits Director to provide strategic leadership across a comprehensive benefits portfolio. This role operates at a senior level partnering with executive leadership while overseeing day-to-day benefits operations. The ideal candidate will quickly assess the current benefits landscape and drive key initiatives with minimal ramp-up time.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design implementation and administration of comprehensive benefits programs
Oversee health and welfare plans including medical dental and vision offerings
Manage financial benefits programs such as retirement plans (401k/pension) deferred compensation and financial wellness initiatives
Develop and align a cohesive total rewards strategy across the organization
Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and key stakeholders
Lead cross-functional discussions on benefits structure cost optimization and vendor performance
Manage vendor relationships including performance evaluation and compliance oversight
Lead complex RFP processes including vendor selection evaluation negotiation and implementation
Oversee the full lifecycle of annual enrollment including communications employee engagement platform management and post-enrollment auditing
Identify opportunities to enhance benefits delivery operational efficiency and overall employee experience
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business Human Resources or a related field (Masters preferred)
Minimum 10 years of experience managing benefits operations in a complex organization
Extensive experience with both health & welfare and financial benefits programs
Strong knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements related to benefits administration
Proven ability to present to and influence executive leadership
Demonstrated success leading strategic initiatives and cross-functional collaboration
Hands-on experience with annual enrollment processes including auditing and reconciliation
Direct experience managing benefits RFP processes
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Benefits Professional (CBP)
Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS)
Experience within healthcare systems or large multi-divisional organizations
