With over 100 hotels and present in 16 BI team mission is to provide data-driven insights and support to help our organization make informed decisions improve performance and achieve our strategic are looking for a Senior Data & Analytics Engineer to join our BI team at Pestana Hotel Group. Your Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with different business teams across the organization to understand data needs and deliver analytics solutions

Design develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures
Create and manage data models databases and data warehouses

Optimize and improve existing datasystems for better performance and reliability

Implement data governance and security measures to ensure data integrity and compliance
Develop Power BI dashboards and analytical reports to support decision-making

Mentor and provide technical guidance to other team members

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in data engineering analytics and business intelligence

About You

Masters degree in Data Science Advanced Analytics Information Management Statistics or other relevant fields

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration skills including partnering with business stakeholders
Proven experience as a Data Engineer Data Architect and/or Analytics Engineer
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases
Experience with data modeling ETL processes and data warehousing
Familiarity with data governance and security best practices

Demonstrated experience with data visualization tools namely Power BI

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python Java or Scala is a plus

Experience with the Microsoft Azure stack; familiarity with Microsoft Fabric is a plus
