Job Description:
Spin Master is a leading global childrens entertainment company creating exceptional play experiences through its three creative centres: Toys Entertainment and Digital Games. With distribution in over 100 countries Spin Master is best known for award-winning brands PAW Patrol Bakugan Kinetic Sand Air Hogs Hatchimals Rubiks Cube and GUND and is the global toy licensee for other popular properties.
What will you work on
We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Generalist to join our team for a maternity cover contract. You will be a key player in our HR team providing essential support to our employees and managers across multiple countries in the EMEA region. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who excels in a fast-paced international environment.
How will you create impact
- HR Operations:Manage all day-to-day HR processes across the full employee lifecycle for designated EMEA countries serving as the primary HR contact for both employees and managers and ensuring consistent application of all procedures.
- Employee Relations & French Labour Law:Confidently lead and manage all day-to-day employee relations matters applying strong knowledge of French labor law to handle contracts disciplinary actions and employee exits while escalating complex cases as needed.
- HR Data & Workday:Act as a Workday power user taking ownership of all HR data to ensure accuracy and timeliness across all transactions and supporting managers and employees with system-related queries and reporting.
- Managerial & Employee Advisory:Serve as a trusted advisor to managers on HR policies best practices and daily people matters while responding proactively to employee queries to ensure a positive and compliant employee experience.
- Cross-Border Coordination:Partner with payroll benefits providers and local advisors across multiple countries to ensure seamless accurate and compliant HR service delivery for all cross-border activities.
What are your skills and experience
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist in an international or EMEA-wide role.
- Solid expertise in French labor law
- High proficiency with Workday
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
- Strong ability to work independently manage a diverse workload and support stakeholders across multiple countries.
- A pragmatic detail-oriented and solution-focused mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable:
- Experience in a matrix organization.
- Familiarity with other EMEA labor laws.
Please note this is a 6-9 month fixed term contract for a maternity cover. Spin Master works in a hybrid model with 4 days per week onsite.
