In this vital role you will coordinate the scheduling of Home Health Aides (HHAs) to ensure seamless patient care. This is a fast-paced position for someone who balances meticulous organizational skills with a compassionate heart.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule Management: Manage and maintain daily caregiver schedules to ensure all shifts are filled.
Coordination: Manage coverage for call-offs absences and new patient assignments from the office.
Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for caregivers regarding schedules changes and expectations.
Documentation: Maintain accurate scheduling records and electronic documentation within our systems.
Collaboration: Work closely with the office staff to ensure operational efficiency.
Compliance: Support compliance with company policies and state regulations through meticulous record-keeping.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of scheduling experience in home care or a healthcare environment is a MUST.
Skills: Strong organizational multitasking and time-management skills.
Professionalism: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for heavy phone and email coordination.
Technical Proficiency: Experience with basic computer systems and scheduling software.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
