Pre Sales Engineer

The Pre Sales department is an integral part of the Mills CNC sales process. Using their engineering expertise our team of project engineers createsolutions for customers to improve productivity. From machine demonstration to full turnkey proposal including automation solutions.

What youll be doing:

• Using your engineering expertise to support the sales team
• Developing presentations demonstrating the major features and benefits of Mills and its product range to our customers.
  
• Use CADCAM and 3D modelling software to prepare simulations and time estimates.
• Program and set machines for customer demonstrations.
  
• Visit customer sites around the UK and Ireland to support regional Business Managers.

Who were looking for:

• Must be living within commuting distance of Mills CNC Technology Campus Leamington Spa as this is mainly an office based role.
  
• Excellent communication skills
  
• Self-motivated and proactive mindset able to manage their own time and workload
  
• A good level of IT literacy

Skills or Qualifications for the role:

• In-depth knowledge of Fanuc Control Systems: Essential
• In-depth knowledge of Heidenhain Control Systems: Strongly preferred
• In-depth knowledge of Siemens Control Systems: Strongly preferred
• Hands on experience of setting / operating and programming of multi axis machine tools: Essential
  
• Knowledge of 3D modelling and CAM software systems: Essential
• Robot automation experience: preferred
