Graphic Designer

THIS POSITION IS FULL TIME ON-SITE FOR LAKELAND FL. ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR KNOWLEDGE ITS MANDATORY (WE WILL TEST).

The Graphic Designer has a dual role working in the computer and phone.

This position is responsible to input new order according customer needscreating computer generated graphics for production team.This may involve various levels of artistic creativity and will ultimately lead to the complete or modified design from customer drawings files or exact output of customer-provided design for output to media.

This position is also responsible to project management process and customer service. Will work with the customer centers management and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction helping revenue generation.

Proofreading signs and conducting quality assurance to ensure the accuracy of signs is also a responsibility.

COMPUTER ROOM RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Prioritize each day to efficiently and cost-effectively schedule the workflow.
2. Determine the best output method based on the customers need.
3. Create read and interpret a Work Orders.
4. Work with co-workers and customers with file transfers online proofs follow ups etc.
5. Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy select style and size of type and arrange layout based upon available space aesthetic design and production requirements.
6. Prepare comprehensive illustrations sketches layouts and copy for print reproduction according to instructions of client or supervisor.
7. Allocate appropriate amount of time to each Work Order.
8. Inspect jobs for accuracy before sending them to output. Ensure correct material is used for each job and output device settings are accurate.

Image Sourcing: locate photos understand copyright laws work with service bureaus to create output beyond store capability and understand resolution options and optimal enlargement specifications from image vendors and image originals.

1. Provide proofs as necessary for customer approval.
2. Maintain accurate electronic record of File Storage following brand standards.
3. Minimize waste by efficiently using ink media laminates foils and vinyl; notify supervisor of low inventory.
4. Communicate with other employees Sales/Service members on job requirements timing and special needs; Production team on job input and output; Production Manager/Center Manager on inventory needs for computer supplies.

General Responsibilities

1. Serve as first point of contact for walk-in email E-commerce and telephone customers.
2. Sell in a consultative manner and make recommendations to prospects and clients using various products and Brand Standards.
3. Prepare estimates and establish/maintain estimate follow-up procedures.
4. Communicate with customers on order status and changes the production schedule.
5. Understand the sales process enough to consult with customers to determine project needs and solutions.
6. Communicate with other employees in a calm and professional manner; express self verbally and listen well.
7. Increase knowledge of graphic design and sign production through reading trade publications and independent study.
8. Keep area neat clean and organized.
