Qualifications
- Bachelors or masters degree in computer science or equivalent engineering experience
- Minimum of 8 years of overall mixed IT experience
- Minimum of 3 years of cloud experience (Azure AWS and/or GCP)
- Strong scripting and automation skills (Terraform PowerShell Git)
Technical Skills
- Understanding of cloud computing technologies
- Optionally demonstrated hands-on experience in one or more of the following:
- Core IaaS: Compute Storage Networking High Availability
- Azure PaaS Services: Logic Apps Azure Monitor/Log Analytics Defender for Cloud IoT suite Advisor etc.
- Identity and Authentication: SSO/Federation AD/Azure AD ADFS etc.
- Data Platform and Big Data: SQL Server Azure SQL DB HDInsight/Hadoop Machine Learning Cosmos DB
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment automation tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO) GitHub Actions Jenkins
- Experience in implementing cost management solutions
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and communicate effectively with internal and external partners
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS Hub-Spoke model On-prem VWAN)
- Any cloud certifications (AZ-400 AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or similar)
- Experience deploying/migrating mixed Cloud architectures (PaaS SaaS and/or IaaS)
