Job Title: Certified Home Health/Hospice Aide

Location: Newport Beach California 92660

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 8:30am - 5pm

Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00/hourly on W2

Travel

• Position may require local travel between various organization locations.
• Sixteen hours of class room must be completed prior to a mandatory 16 hours of practical training.

Hospice

• Completed a minimum of 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training.
• Provides a calm manner when in a patients home.
• Understands hospice philosophy comfortable providing specialized care to the terminally ill and secure with issues of death/dying.
• Empathy for the needs of the ill injured frail and the impaired.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification in the State of California in good standing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Registration on the Home Care Aide Registry through the Department of Social Services Home Care Services Bureau in good standing.
• Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order.
