Angels My Way Home Care is seeking a driven relationship-focused Business Development and amp; Community Outreach Coordinator to expand our referral network strengthen our local brand presence and support client acquisition across the Halton-Hamilton-Mississauga region.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong community engagement skills with business development discipline. The successful candidate will build relationships with hospitals retirement homes community organizations discharge planners wellness managers care coordinators and other key referral partners to generate qualified leads and support the growth of long-term home care services.

Key Responsibilities / Duties

  • Build and maintain a database of target organizations referral sources and key decision-makers.
  • Conduct outreach to hospitals retirement homes community centres and other local partners through phone calls email in-person visits presentations and follow-up meetings.
  • Build and nurture referral partnerships with discharge nurses care coordinators wellness managers social workers and other healthcare stakeholders.
  • Develop and support referral initiatives for professional partners and community contacts.
  • Execute multi-channel outreach campaigns using phone email CRM follow-ups and drip sequences.
  • Generate qualified leads and support the conversion of new clients with a focus on long-term high-hour cases.
  • Represent Angels My Way Home Care professionally in the community and clearly communicate the agencys value proposition.
  • Track outreach activity referral relationships lead status and conversion progress in the CRM.
  • Support the collection of client and family reviews to strengthen local trust and online visibility.
  • Contribute to brand positioning messaging and local market growth initiatives.
  • Represent Angels My Way Home Care at local health fairs senior expos community events and networking groups to increase brand visibility.

Required Skills and amp; Qualifications

  • Experience in business development community outreach healthcare marketing home care retirement living or a related field.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills especially in face-to-face settings.
  • Confidence engaging with healthcare professionals community stakeholders and referral partners.
  • Ability to work independently stay organized and maintain consistent follow-up.
  • Comfort using CRM systems spreadsheets and outreach or marketing tools.
  • Strong professional presence persistence and objection-handling ability.
  • Must possess a valid Ontario G drivers licence and have access to your own reliable personal vehicle for daily field outreach.
  • Knowledge of the home care senior care retirement living or healthcare referral environment is a strong asset.
  • Ability to provide a clear Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) / Criminal Record Check.

Preferred:

  • Experience building referral relationships in home care healthcare retirement living or community-based senior services.
  • Familiarity with discharge planning senior care navigation or private-pay home care services.
  • Experience with in-person territory outreach and local partnership development.
  • Understanding of Ontarios public healthcare system (e.g. Ontario Health at Home) to effectively position our private-pay services as a premium alternative.

Compensation and amp; Perks

  • Base salary of $42000-$45000 annually based on experience and fit.
  • Generous commissions and performance-based bonuses on top of base pay.
  • Growth opportunity into a larger territory or leadership-focused outreach role based on results.
  • Fuel and mileage reimbursement for all work-related travel.

Schedule:

  • Local travel required across Halton Hamilton and Mississauga.
  • Some flexibility in scheduling with availability for in-person meetings and community outreach activities.
  • Willingness to occasionally work flexible hours including evenings or weekends to attend specific community events or health fairs.
