Role Description
The Material Control Specialist will support a manufacturing site and be responsible for accurately processing material transactions as materials move throughout the plant. This role is critical to daily operations requiring strong attention to detail accuracy and timeliness. The specialist will collaborate closely with multiple departments to ensure all transactions are completed efficiently and align with physical material movements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of mechanical experience
- Experience with hydraulics pneumatics electrical systems and rigging
- Strong understanding of material flow within a manufacturing environment
- Ability to interpret inventory system transactions and correlate them to physical movements
- Experience working with multiple units of measure and performing conversions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using ERP/MRP systems such as JDE SAP or Oracle
