UXUI Designer

Overview:

Caixa Mágica Software is a leading Portuguese company in the Open Source market segments in Portugal. We provide a wide range of services from specialized business consulting to software project development research and innovation. We have developed multiple projects targeting a variety of implementation areas.

We are actively involved with Open Source communities organizing a well-known event in Lisbon and participating in several European Union-funded research projects. Caixa Mágica also maintains strong ties with the Portuguese public administration contributing to the development of middleware for the Portuguese Citizen Card system and extending this concept toward standardization and compliance across other European systems.

In addition we maintain close relationships with Innovation and Research departments across several sectors including telecommunications and media energy mobile systems and cloud-based platforms supporting manufacturing systems.

What will you do

• Develop design materials for different formats and channels including web design brochures marketing/social media content and presentations;
• Create UI/UX solutions for web and mobile application platforms;
• Contribute across the board to the design and user experience area;
• Use AI tools to increase efficiency and productivity at work;
• Contribute to the definition and management of the companys corporate image and its respective platforms.

What are we looking for

• Experience in graphic/digital design and UI/UX;
• Proficiency in tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite;
• Ability to work across different formats and types of projects;
• Autonomy proactivity and a strong sense of responsibility;
• Dynamic creative and flexible profile;
• Interest in exploring new tools and approaches.

Nice to have:

• Interest in taking on a cross-functional role within an agile structure;
• Ability to adapt and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams;
• Willingness to integrate AI into the work process in a practical and efficient way.
