Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Medication Aide (RMA) to join our assisted living this vital role you will provide exceptional resident care administer resident medications assist with daily activities and support the clinical team in delivering safe effective and personalized care. Your energy and enthusiasm will help create a positive environment for our patients and residents ensuring their comfort and dignity are prioritized at all times. Responsibilities

• Administer resident medications per physicians orders
• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing dressing grooming and mobility to promote independence and comfort
• Collaborate with nursing staff to identify patient needs report changes in condition promptly and assist with emergency responses in critical situations
• Maintain a safe environment by following infection control protocols practicing proper hand hygiene and adhering to safety standards for infectious disease care and acute care settings

Requirements

• Valid RMA license recognized by state licensing authorities
• Experience working with diverse populations including long-term care residents seniors or individuals with disabilities
• Ability to perform tasks requiring physical strength such as assisting patients using Hoyer lifts or assisting with mobility aids
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients families and healthcare team member
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with required privacy practices

• Based on state regulations and completion of required training/certification Medication Aides/Techs will administer or assist with self-administration of medication and treatments as prescribed by the health care provider and observe/report responses to your supervisor.
• Certified Medication Aides/Techs make sure the medication supply room is organized and clean assist with medication cart audits and provide accurate counts of all medications. You will also communicate with pharmacies to coordinate medication delivery.
• Based on state regulation completion of training/certification is required.
