Job Summary
We are seeking a Level 2 System and Network Engineer who embodies the initiative reliability and independence demonstrated by our high-performing team members. This role is methodical and structured focusing on executing client health checks and ensuring ongoing alignment with company and industry standards.
Success in this role requires discipline attention to detail and initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct monthly health checks across assigned client environments to ensure alignment with Halexo standards.
- Utilize My IT Process platform to standardize and document health check procedures.
- Execute daily predefined checklists via Kaseya including but not limited to:
- Firewall alerts and security monitoring
- Licensing and asset counts
- Server alerts and system resource checks
- Backup testing and verification
- Microsoft 365 user list and configuration reviews
- Generate reports highlighting misalignments or issues escalating to Virtual IT Managers for resolution.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail as health check reports directly inform client assessments.
- Work independently with minimal supervision taking ownership of assigned client health assessments.
Technical Requirements:
- Level 2-3 technical knowledge in network and systems administration with ability to identify environmental issues independently.
- Familiarity with tools such as Kaseya RMM platforms or IT process management tools is an advantage.
- Understanding of network fundamentals Windows Server environments and Office365 administration.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-identification skills.
Work Schedule:
- US business Hours / Full time / Hybrid

Requirements
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Networking or a related field (Masters degree is an advantage).
- Preferred Certifications (not mandatory but an advantage):
- CompTIA Network (N)
- CompTIA Security
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals / M365 Fundamentals
- Fortinet NSE 3/4
- VMware VCTA (Associate) / VCP (Professional)
- ITIL Foundation
