Job Description:

Examples of Work
Job Duties:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather analyze and document detailed business and functional requirements for cloud-enabled applications
- Translate business needs into well-defined user stories acceptance criteria and functional specifications for development teams
- Recommend and implement improvements to website functionality user experience and system performance
- Partner with solution architects and engineers to design and deliver scalable cloud-based solutions
- Act as a liaison between business users developers and third-party vendors to analyze requirements and deliver enhanced system functionality
- Conduct analysis of existing business processes and workflows identifying gaps and opportunities for optimization
- Work closely with technical architects to propose and validate effective technical solutions aligned with business goals
- Develop and execute comprehensive system test cases to ensure solutions met all functional and business requirements
- Create and maintain system documentation user guides and training materials to support end users and system adoption
- Deliver end to end production support by troubleshooting system issues coordinating fixes validating changes and ensuring timely resolution of user concerns
Requirements/Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Post high school coursework training or experience in the analysis of business processes and system requirements and the creation of business process applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook / Word / Excel / Visio / SharePoint)
- Associate or bachelors degree in information systems Information Technology Business Computer Science or related field.
- 5 years working as a business / solutions analyst
- Experience working on cloud projects and cross functional teams
- Understanding of SDLC methodologies.
- Working with DHHS systems.
- Knowledge of Clarity Workfront and JIRA.
Other:
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Not a remote position. The position must report to the Nebraska State Office Building (NSOB) in Lincoln NE.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to clearly present technical information to non-technical audiences
- Strong presentation skills with experience delivering information to diverse stakeholder groups
- Proven ability to collaborate with business and technical teams to define and deliver effective technical solutions aligned with business requirements
- Effective communication skills for engaging with internal and external stakeholders including clients peers and management
- Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently meet deadlines and take initiative with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational planning problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong facilitation skills including leading meetings gathering requirements conducting research and driving problem resolution
