Custodian

A food distribution warehouse in Santa Teresa is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Custodian to maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility. This position plays a vital role in ensuring bathrooms offices and break rooms are clean safe and well-maintained for employees and visitors. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail takes pride in maintaining a clean environment and can work independently in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Clean and sanitize restrooms including toilets sinks mirrors floors and fixtures.
• Maintain cleanliness of office spaces including dusting sweeping mopping and trash removal.
• Clean and sanitize break rooms including tables countertops appliances and floors.
• Restock restroom and break room supplies such as paper towels toilet paper soap and sanitizer.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
• Sweep and mop floors throughout assigned areas.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any supply or maintenance needs.
• Follow all safety guidelines when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.
• Perform other custodial or general cleaning duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to stand bend and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 4050 pounds.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
