About the Role
BDO is looking for a MarketingLeadto step into aleadership role within our Clients & Markets teamresponsible for shapingthe firmsmarketingagenda and leadingitsdelivery. Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Communicationsyoulltranslate strategy into a disciplined high-impact program of work that strengthens BDOsbrandtodrive measurable outcomesthroughprioritisation executiongovernanceandstrong teamleadership.
Thisrolewill suita commercially minded marketing leader who thriveson building relationships with leadersin complex partner-led B2B environments and knows how to build momentum throughintegrated campaigns and demand generation programs.Youwill alsohave a demonstrated ability toleverageCRM and marketing automation to improve targeting and performanceand elevate thought leadershiptoconvertintellectual capital into genuine market cut-through. Key priorities will be within the following areas:
Marketingplanningandleadership
Lead the annual marketing plan andensure alignment tostrategy
Leadanddevelop a high performing nationalteam
Operateas partofthe Marketing & Communications leadership team
Go-to-marketandbusinessdevelopmentalignment
Work closely with key stakeholders to planalignand deliver coordinated sectorclientand market campaigns
Support key account programs through targeted campaigns thought leadership and activation
Coordinatebetween marketing programs and BD activity to maximise market impact and client engagement
Campaignsdemandgenerationandmarketingperformance
Lead the planning and delivery of national marketing campaignsincluding demand generationobjectivesleverageCRMand marketing automation platforms
Own campaign performance and ROI
Ensure marketing activity is insight led and outcome focused whilst being commercially accountable
Thoughtleadershipandmarketvisibility
Lead the planning and activation of thought leadership and content programs
Work with National Leadersand thought leadersto translate intellectual capitalintomeaningfulthought leadership and campaigns
Marketingcapabilityalignmentandcontinuousimprovement
Upliftmarketing capabilitysystemsand ways of working across the team
Embed best practice planning executionmeasurementand governance
Work closely with Brand and Digital leaders to ensure strong alignmentintegrationand consistency.
About You
This position is suited to an individual with:
Demonstrated experience in senior marketing leadership roles ideally within professional services advisoryconsultingor complex B2B environments.
Proven experience leading national marketing function or teams of 20 people and delivering integrated marketing strategies.
Strong capability across go to market planning campaigns and thought leadership.
Demonstrated experience partnering with business development teams in partner led environments.
Proven ability to build ahigh performingteam culture focused on continuous improvement capabilityupliftand disciplined execution.
ExperienceleveragingCRM and marketing automation platforms to deliver measurable demand generation including segmentation nurture journeys and funnel reporting.
An openness toleveragingAI and technology to enhance operations and marketing effectiveness.
Strong commercial acumen with experience owning marketing performance metrics and campaign ROI.
Experienceoperatingeffectively in matrixed multi office organisations.
Proven ability to lift capability set standards and lead change within marketing functions.
Strong stakeholder management capability with the ability to influence andadvisesenior leaders and Partners in complex environments.
Tertiary qualifications in Marketing BusinessCommunicationsor a related discipline.
