Role Purposes:

• Responsible for developing business in the assigned regional area. Strive to expand the market share of our products (factory automation process automation)
• Identify key prospects with sales potential in the assigned area through sales agents and formulate and execute plans to expand market share
• Understand customer applications and conduct proposal-based sales in collaboration with internal product managers

Major Accountabilities:

• Conduct regular visits to customers in the machinery equipment and systems integration sectors to develop new projects and follow up on existing ones
• Deepen product knowledge identify customer pain points in specific applications and conduct proposal-based sales
• Develop new business opportunities with key customers
• Conduct market development and customer segmentation and maintain and manage project and customer databases in our CRM system
• Proactively provide basic technical support to customers and offer advice on improving and upgrading equipment related to applications
• Work closely with channel partners in various industries (trading companies distributors SIs VARs etc.) to expand sales in those markets. Perform other duties as assigned by management
• Actively communicate with customers to maintain long-term service relationships strive to build relationships and use your influence as a sales representative to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
• Hold weekly meetings with the sales manager to report on project progress and market information
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Role Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Electronics Mechanics or Industrial Engineering or similar
• Business fluent or native-language Japanese (written and spoken) ideally English (or commitment to learn)
• 2 years or above working experiences in Sales and automation fields
• Excellent personal communication skills
• Self-motivated hardworking and positive
• Strong interpersonal presentation and selling skills
• Able to work in a team as well as individually
• Problem solving attitude and lateral thinker
• Willing to travel: Across Japan (regularly) and APAC (periodically)
