Service Team Attendant Rec Center Front Desk Nights and Weekends

NOW HIRING: Front Desk Service Team Attendant (part-time)

JOB SUMMARY: The Service Team Attendant is responsible for greeting visitors answering phones checking/scanning membership passes and providing specific program information. Daily operations include opening and/or closing procedures balancing cash drawer at end of shift and conducting facility tours to familiarize patrons with the park district. Additionally this position must perform all necessary registration functions and sales such as facility pass and program registration class transfers wait-lists picnic permits room rentals printing of reports and data entry.

LOCATION: Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center 8125 W. 171st St Tinley Park

QUALIFICATIONS: The qualified individual should be able to communicate effectively with the public and represent the operations and policies of the district. Ability to work with a variety of computer software programs is required. Good decision making and leadership skills are a must. Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required. Current CPR certification or ability to gain CPR certification is also required.

INCENTIVES: This is a year-round part-time position required to cover three 6 hour shifts per week which includes nights and weekends. Pay rate begins at $15.50 per hour and qualifies for a complementary membership to the Fitness Center Recreation Center Water Park and Dog Park. Flexible work hours are preferred.
