Job Summary
smartdept. is searching for a Freelance Graphic Designer for a media industry client. The ideal candidate will come with 3 years of experience. This is a project-based fully remote ad hoc contract opportunity with hours varying based on project needs.
This role will support a fast-paced internal creative team by stepping in on an as-needed basis to execute design projects when bandwidth is limited. The ideal candidate is both conceptual and executional able to take projects from idea through final production across a variety of formats.
What Youll Do:
- Concept design and produce a range of marketing materials from start to finish
- Create print and digital assets including brochures sell sheets and email templates
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project goals and deliver on-brand creative
- Jump into projects quickly and manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines
- Prepare final files for both print and digital production
What Youll Need:
- 3 years of professional graphic design experience
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign Illustrator Photoshop)
- Experience working across both print and digital design projects
- Ability to balance ideation layout and production work
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
