Job Summary
Manage the development of engineering projects by planning organizing and controlling all elements of the project
General Responsibilities
- Manage project budget and costs according to project allocation to ensure efficient usage of resources where applicable
- Manage engineering projects by developing detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities
- Provide technical guidance to support project design development testing and implementation phases
- Develop and review technical instructions for system set-up and installation activities
- Oversee product construction and testing in order to ensure completion of projects efficiently and effectively
- Identify and develop new opportunities with existing contracts
- Assess and emphasize risks related to engineering projects and develop mitigation plans
- Monitor engineering progress against budget and forecasted schedules
- Manage and facilitate communication across the engineering functions to ensure that the project objectives and needs are met
- Serve as technical consultant and address project queries and concerns from management and employees
- Maintain contact with previous clients to identify new projects
Functional Skills and Knowledge
- Demonstrate technical knowledge in scientific and medical instruments
- Demonstrate understanding of corporate risk and customs compliance
- Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel Word and PowerPoint)
- Demonstrate fluency in English both written and spoken
Education
Degree in Engineering (Electronic/Electrical)
