Schedule: MondayFriday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (30-minute break)
Position Overview
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Assistant to support daily financial operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and experience in accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile check registers and deposits
- Create and maintain spreadsheets with formulas to organize and summarize data
- Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Perform general office duties including:
- Filing
- Scanning
- Printing
- Matching documents to reports
- Complete additional administrative and computer-based tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Intermediate or higher proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred
