Senior Commercial Credit Analyst

THE ROLE

• Providing detailed credit analysis of the complex commercial applications.
• Conduct robust credit calls with Business Loan Applicants to ensure that key risks are mitigated and material assumptions are verified.
• Make recommendations to Deal Review Committee supported by the credit analysis and credit call that meet policy and quality requirements.
• Assist leaders with the review of the assessments conducted by junior members of the team ensuring that the minimum required quality is met.
• Provide timely feedback to junior credit analysts to assist with upskilling and improvement of the Credit team.
• Building and maintaining effective relationships with the members of the Sales team.
• Assist Credit leaders in upskilling Sales team by delivering constructive feedback on the quality of the credit submissions and data collection.

Qualifications :

THIS PERSON IS SOMEONE WITH

• Commercial credit experience in decisioning deals up to $5 million.
• Prior experience holding significant delegation - this is a must!
• Experience in coaching and mentoring junior credit analysts.
• Demonstrated initiative drive and enthusiasm.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Strong ability to build relationships and act as a true team player.
