Our First Line Risk and Customer Strategy teams play a key role in helping the business make wellinformed responsible decisions that balance customer outcomes commercial performance and risk management. Working closely with teams across the business the department uses data insight and risk awareness to understand customer behaviour identify potential risks and support improvements to processes controls and customer experience.
Core Skills:
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret information identify trends risks and insights
- Attention to detail with a structured approach to reviewing data processes policies or controls
- Clear written and verbal communication skills able to explain findings and recommendations to a range of stakeholders
- Problemsolving mindset with curiosity to ask questions challenge assumptions and suggest improvements
- Ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively in a fastpaced or regulated environment
- High standards of professionalism and integrity particularly when handling sensitive or confidential information
Qualifications :
What we are looking for:
- Minimum achievement or expectation of a 2:2 degree; (You will have graduated in 2025 or are due to complete in 2026);
- An interest and enthusiasm to work in the Financial Services industry;
- Able to commute to Cheadle on a daily basis; (the role is not remote)
- The drive and passion to succeed in an ambitious business;
- A problem solving approach and a keen desire to lean new tools and technologies;
- Experience using Microsoft Excel (e.g. formulas basic analysis); and experience with other tools such as Power BI SQL Python or Tableau is desirable but not essential
