We are seeking an Acquisition Management Analyst to join our team and support mission-critical programs through strong security practices collaboration and attention to detail.

Position Overview

We are seeking an Acquisition Management Analyst to support business operations and acquisition activities across a dynamic R&D portfolio. This role provides direct support to acquisition and program teams by helping manage funding track acquisition efforts and improve processes across the full acquisition lifecyclefrom pre-award through closeout.

The ideal candidate understands how federal acquisitions actually work and can operate in a fast-paced mission-focused environment while keeping things organized compliant and moving forward.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Financial Management

  • Support development and maintenance of spend plans and funding profiles
  • Track and monitor interagency agreements and associated funding actions
  • Provide business operations and financial reporting to acquisition leadership
  • Assist with execution and tracking of funds across programs
  • Support responses to acquisition and financial data calls

Acquisition Support

  • Support acquisition activities across the lifecycle:
    • Pre-award
    • Award
    • Post-award
    • Closeout and transition
  • Track acquisition milestones deliverables and timelines to ensure compliance and timely execution
  • Maintain and update acquisition tools trackers and data systems
  • Consolidate acquisition data and documentation to support government decision-making
  • Assist in monitoring contract activities and program execution

Process Improvement & Operations

  • Develop and improve templates workflows checklists and SOPs to drive consistency
  • Identify opportunities for process efficiencies across acquisition and business operations
  • Maintain documentation for acquisition processes and best practices
  • Support development and delivery of training materials and process guidance
  • Help capture lessons learned and performance metrics

Stakeholder Support

  • Provide analytical support and insights to acquisition and program teams
  • Coordinate across functional areas to ensure alignment on acquisition activities
  • Support preparation of data and materials for senior-level briefings and reporting
  • Maintain accuracy of acquisition data within internal systems


Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in:
    • Business Administration
    • Acquisition Management
    • Contract Management
    • Finance
    • Economics
    • or related field
  • 6 years of experience supporting:
    • Federal acquisition lifecycle activities
    • Budgeting funding or spend plan execution
  • Working knowledge of:
    • Federal acquisition processes
    • Financial tracking and reporting
  • Strong organizational and data management skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Masters degree in a related field
  • DAWIA Level II (or equivalent) in:
    • Contracting
    • Program Management
  • Prior experience supporting:
    • Intelligence Community (IC)
    • DoD acquisition programs

Clearance Requirement

  • Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
