Engineering Lead Data & Analytics

To support this mission Syngentas IT & Digital team is seeking a Engineering Lead - Data & Analytics in Pune. This role will support the delivery for leading data and engineering teams within our Data Mesh platform oversee product delivery and spearhead the modernization of our AI BI and agentic analytics solutions.

Accountabilities:

The role will be responsible for leading the data and engineering teams on our Data Mesh platform & product delivery as well as driving the modernization and future of AI/BI and agentic analytics solutions.  They will provide knowledge experience and hands on expertise on efficient data and engineering practices use of Serverless Technologies Containers (Docker/Vagrant) Databricks Automated Deployment Tools Testing Tools GitHub and AWS. This includes recruitment contracting evaluation and mentoring the team.

Required Qualifications:

• Career experience in envisioning and leading high impact change projects
• Demonstrated ability to lead and catalyze organizational change
• Explicit and extensive agile delivery experience
• Experience in managing innovation and lean based projects for major corporations
• Skilled in successfully operating in a dynamic & fast-paced technology environment.
• A tactical thinker with strong skills in effectively prioritizing & organizing thematic work in detail in order to align vision & execution.
• Ideally experienced in a similar role in the industrial sector.
• Strong team management and people communication (written and verbal) skills in English

Desired Qualifications:

• Technology Leader / Engineer working with leadership level business members and teams
• Proven expertise in managing mentoring & developing cross-functional teams data and engineering teams.
