Northwest Talent Solutions is partnering with a leading aerospace and advanced systems organization to identify a high-impact Electrical Engineer specializing in Cables & Interconnects.
This is a precision-critical role where your work directly influences system performance reliability and hardware integrity.
Why This Role Stands Out:
This is not a traditional network engineering role.
This is physical systems engineeringdesigning and optimizing the cable and interconnect architecture that powers complex electronic and flight hardware systems.
Engineers in this role:
- Own system-level interconnect design
- Influence performance safety and testability
- Work in environments where precision matters
What Youll Do:
- Design and develop cable harness assemblies for complex electronic systems
- Create and maintain interconnect diagrams for flight hardware and support systems
- Apply electrical engineering fundamentals to circuit and system design
- Evaluate design changes and downstream system impact
- Ensure excellence across fabrication testing and documentation
- Maintain high-accuracy engineering documentation and traceability
What You Bring:
- Experience in cable harness design interconnect systems or wiring for complex hardware
- Proficiency with Capital Harness Xpedition or similar tools
- Understanding of DC power distribution
- Experience with engineering prints and documentation standards
- Exposure to cable fabrication/testing (DITMCO is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and systems-thinking mindset
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
OR equivalent hands-on experience - 25 years of relevant experience
Work Structure & Benefits:

- 9/80 schedule (every other Friday off)
