Responsibilities:
- Handle assembly quality issues identify root causes and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively and timely to prevent recurrence.
- Conduct regular audits and quarterly supplier performance evaluations discussing quality and technical issues to support continuous improvement.
- Monitor and analyze weekly assembly yield defect patterns and SPC to ensure ongoing quality system capability. Check daily WIP to ensure short assembly cycle times and on-time delivery.
- Conduct risk assessments and manage wafer incoming issues at suppliers and on-hold lots with assembly issues on the test floor.
- Generate and evaluate supplier quality reports establish baselines and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with FA engineers to identify assembly failures determine root causes and implement corrective actions with assemblers.
- Assist in qualifying new suppliers materials packages and assembly processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or related discipline
- Familiar with general assembly processes and quality controls (8D CAR FMEA SPC etc.).
- Knowledge of basic concepts of Failure Analysis (FA) and reliability.
- Willing to travel for on-site support.
