Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant BASIS Transformation Lead!

The SAP BASIS Transformation Lead is responsible for driving and governing SAP platform transformation initiatives across complex hybrid SAP landscapes including on-premises SAP environments SAP RISE hyperscaler cloud platforms and SAP cloud services. The role focuses on modernising SAP platforms enabling cloud adoption and ensuring secure compliant and standardised SAP environments during large-scale transformation programs.
This position acts as the technical transformation leader within the SAP BASIS and platform services domain aligning internal IT teams implementation partners SAP cloud services and hyperscaler providers under a structured governance and transformation framework. The role ensures the successful delivery of SAP transformation initiatives including system migrations landscape simplification and cloud platform adoption.
The SAP BASIS Transformation Lead drives platform modernisation and strategic evolution of SAP environments. The role oversees BASIS transformation activities such as system conversions landscape redesign cloud migration platform integration and transport strategy across SAP solutions including SAP ECC S/4HANA SAP HANA databases SAP BTP and SAP cloud platforms.
The role also leads continuous improvement initiatives automation strategies and optimisation programs to ensure resilient scalable and future-ready SAP platforms that support enterprise digital transformation objectives.

Responsibilities
Engage with business stakeholders and IT leadership to understand SAP transformation objectives technical architecture requirements and future-state SAP platform strategies.
Collaborate with Enterprise Architects Security teams Infrastructure teams Cloud engineers and implementation partners to design and deliver modern SAP platform architectures aligned with digital transformation initiatives.
Lead the planning and execution of SAP transformation programs including S/4HANA conversions system migrations landscape redesign and RISE with SAP adoption.
Define and own SAP platform transformation roadmaps delivery plans and technical strategies ensuring successful implementation across complex SAP landscapes.
Provide effort estimations transformation planning resource management and cost forecasting for SAP migration cloud adoption and platform modernisation initiatives.
Identify assess and manage technical operational and transformation risks that may impact SAP platform modernization and business continuity.
Act as the primary coordination lead between internal teams system integrators SAP and hyperscaler cloud providers during SAP transformation initiatives.
Lead SAP BASIS transformation and implementation teams ensuring successful delivery of system conversions upgrades and cloud migrations.
Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards security policies governance frameworks and SAP best practices during transformation programs.
Drive automation standardisation and optimisation of SAP platform operations to support scalable resilient and future-ready SAP environments.
Oversee transformation delivery to ensure projects are completed within agreed scope quality standards timelines and budgets.
Experience in SAP BASIS SAP platform architecture and enterprise SAP landscape management.
Extensive experience in SAP S/4HANA transformation system conversion (Brownfield) and new implementations (Greenfield).
Strong expertise in SAP landscape transformation modernisation and platform strategy.
Proven experience leading SAP transformation programs including RISE with SAP and hyperscaler cloud adoption.
Hands-on expertise in SAP HANA database administration migration and performance optimisation.
Experience with SAP system implementation upgrades migrations and landscape consolidation initiatives.
Strong knowledge of SAP cloud technologies including SAP BTP SAP Cloud Platform and hyperscaler platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP).
Experience designing enterprise SAP platform architecture across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Expertise in Linux administration for SAP workloads and SAP-certified infrastructure platforms.
Strong experience in SAP system performance tuning monitoring and optimisation for large enterprise landscapes.
Expertise in High Availability (HA) Disaster Recovery (DR) and business continuity strategies for mission-critical SAP systems.
Experience in SAP integration architecture transport management and landscape governance.
Strong understanding of SAP transformation frameworks migration strategies and cloud operating models.
Experience managing large-scale SAP transformation projects using Agile and traditional delivery methodologies.
Ability to define enterprise SAP platform strategy roadmap development and solution architecture alignment.
Strong knowledge of SAP technical governance security standards and enterprise architecture compliance.
Experience managing system integrators vendors and hyperscaler providers with clear SLA and KPI accountability.
Strong analytical risk management and problem-solving skills in complex transformation environments.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders across global SAP transformation programs.
Strong governance mindset with experience in enterprise IT processes and SAP transformation delivery frameworks.
Ability to translate complex technical transformation concepts into clear business outcomes.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience engaging senior leadership and stakeholders.
Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced digital transformation and cloud adoption environments

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science - or equivalent in experience.

Ability to deliver high quality and reliable software by collaborating with team. Outstanding analytical skills ability to apply expertise to drive complex technical and highly commercial solutions. Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent customer facing skills that include conducting compelling technical briefing& demonstrations including issues status reports and resolving impediments
