  • Location:Sydney-based role only
  • On-site Requirement:3 days in the office per week
  • Why On-siteThis is a highly collaborative position involving regular face-to-face workshops and close team interaction making in-office presence essential.

Whats the role

As a Lead Business Analyst you will work within the Unite delivery village in the Chief Transformation Office aligned to a Line of Business performing detailed analysis and requirement elicitation as part of Westpacs Unite program. You will partner closely with stakeholders to understand analyse and clearly define requirements for changes to business products processes policies data and systems ensuring alignment to Westpacs strategic objectives and business needs.

Additionally you will manage requirements through the full delivery lifecycle providing clear recommendations that support effective business solutions and deliver measurable value. You will ensure consistency and quality across deliverables contribute across multiple streams of work and provide regular progress updates to the Principal Business Analyst.

Youll also support and guide less senior team members helping uplift capability while maintaining strong standards of analysis collaboration and delivery quality across the program.

What do I need

  • Proven experience as a Lead Business Analyst including leading and coordinating work across a BA team
  • Experience delivering data migration initiatives within large complex organisations ideally in banking or financial services
  • Exposure to Debit Cards and/or Credit Cards product domains is highly regarded
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to balance competing needs while staying within agreed scope
  • Highly collaborative able to work effectively across teams and initiatives to ensure alignment and clarity of outcomes
  • Demonstrated analytical and logical thinking with the ability to plan ahead and solve complex problems with practical solutions
  • Strong understanding of project management disciplines technology and business systems enabling delivery of highquality valuedriven outcomes
