The Occupational Therapist will assess plan and provide rehabilitative and therapeutic services to patients of all ages focusing on helping individuals achieve greater independence in daily living and work activities enhancing their overall quality of patients physical cognitive and emotional abilities using standardized assessments and clinical barriers to performing activities of daily living (ADLs) and establish goals for and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patients unique needs and therapeutic techniques exercises and interventions to enhance patients functional and train patients in the use of adaptive equipment and assistive patients and their families on therapeutic strategies to improve function and maintain progress at guidance on adapting home and work environments to meet the patients accurate and timely patient records including assessments progress notes and discharge progress and recommendations to physicians case managers and other healthcare collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team including physical therapists speech therapists educators and healthcare in case conferences and team meetings to coordinate patient all services comply with professional standards state and federal regulations and ethical a safe and clean therapy environment for patients and staff.v
