Contract Manager – Gripen EF Program (Export)

At Saab were not just building aircraftwere redefining the future of security. As Contract Manager for a Gripen E/F Export program you will take the lead in one of the worlds most advanced fighter aircraft projects.

Youll own a Export Main Contract overseeing development delivery and operationsfrom initial scope definition to the handover of Gripen systems. Leading a cross-functional team of technical legal and commercial specialists you will ensure successful contract execution while building lasting relationships with both our customers and internal stakeholders.

What youll do:

Lead and manage the full contract lifecycle for the Gripen E/F in our next Export country

Oversee budget schedule scope risk and stakeholder engagement

Interact with the customer and manage high-level relationships

Collaborate and conduct negotiations with Swedish governmental agencies such as FMV

Drive follow-on sales opportunities and secure long-term contractual value

Lead a cross-functional contract team including sub-contract managers commercial finance industrial cooperation and product management both in Sweden and abroad

Work closely with engineering teams to align customer needs with technical feasibility

Represent Saab building trust and collaboration

What you bring:

Proven leadership in complex high-stakes projects

Strong business acumen and financial understanding

Broad technical knowledge of the Gripen system (or similar aerospace/defense platforms)

Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English (spoken & written)

Confidence in presenting to senior stakeholders in English

Experience in contract management and/or senior leadership is highly valued

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
