As a Security Officer Experienced Unarmed Patrol in New York NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location where you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control functions provide outstanding customer service and communication and contribute to a caring agile and reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity every day.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents visitors staff and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner and document observations and actions in accordance with post guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location including interior areas entrances exits and perimeter points while reporting unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry loitering and/or disruptive behavior by following established protocols and communicating respectfully with individuals at the location.
• Support daily operations at a government location by providing directions assisting with security-related requests and coordinating with site contacts and/or emergency responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
