Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks) Part-Time / Per Diem
Work Schedule: Day Shift 8 Hours (8:00 AM 5:00 PM)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide inpatient rehabilitation services focusing on speech communication and swallowing disorders. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients and review medical history referrals and diagnoses
- Develop and implement individualized speech and swallow therapy treatment plans
- Provide therapy for communication cognitive and swallowing disorders
- Recommend diet consistencies and safe swallowing techniques
- Educate patients families and staff on dysphagia aspiration prevention and communication strategies
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Participate in interdisciplinary care team meetings and discharge planning
- Assist patients with adaptive equipment for communication and feeding
- Maintain accurate documentation billing and compliance with care standards
- Supervise and support other SLP staff as needed
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure (or eligibility)
- Experience in inpatient rehab or similar setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech language and swallowing disorders
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
