Job Summary
Are you a skilled Fitter & Turner with a strong background in precision machining and exposure to injection moulding environments If you take pride in producing high-quality components enjoy working with CNC machinery and have hands-on experience supporting moulding operations this role could be an excellent fit for you.
Job Description:
- Perform high-precision fitting and turning work on mechanical components
- Manufacture assemble maintain and repair moving and rotating parts
- Support injection moulding tooling including fitting alignment and maintenance of moulds
- Read and interpret detailed technical drawings schematics and specifications
- Operate set up and support CNC machining processes
- Assist with tooling improvements breakdowns and preventative maintenance
- Ensure adherence to quality safety and workmanship standards at all times
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Fitter & Turner
- Proven experience working in injection moulding or plastic manufacturing environments
- Proficient in FANUC controls and Mastercam software
- Experience working with high-precision moving and rotating components
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality output
- Relevant trade qualification required
