Job Title: Jr. QA Analyst - Hybrid

Job Description:
As a Junior QA Analyst you will support the execution of the full testing lifecycle by creating executing and documenting test activities to ensure applications meet quality standards and business requirements. You will work closely with cross functional teams in an Agile environment to validate system functionality support user acceptance testing track defects and contribute to reliable on time software releases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and document test plans test cases and execute manual and automated tests.
- Analyze test results identify defects and report issues with clear documentation.
- Support Agile testing activities and collaborate with business and technical teams.
- Assist with development and execution of UAT scenarios and test scripts.
- Participate in defect triage meetings demos and status reporting.
- Validate requirements through testing and maintain traceability documentation.
- Prepare test data and evaluate application readiness for UAT.
- Perform various testing types including system regression performance and security testing.
- Communicate risks issues and progress to the QA Testing Lead.
Required Skills Experiences Education and Competencies:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Business or a related field.
- 3 5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance roles.
- Experience testing custom applications; GIS testing experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Experience creating test cases executing tests and documenting results.
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools.
- Ability to analyze requirements and design effective test scenarios.
- Strong analytical problem solving and attention to detail skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams.
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $23.00 to $35.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills experience location and industry.
