The role focuses on Oracle DB administration SQL/PL-SQL troubleshooting BI Publisher support and performance tuning across environments working closely with functional and technical teams to resolve incidents and deliver ResponsibilitiesOracle Database Administration (EBS)Support day-to-day Oracle Database administration for EBS including monitoring health checks and operational support activities (logs backups coordination restores support).Assist with database environment maintenance activities aligned to change processes (patching coordination upgrades support environment readiness checks). SQL / PL-SQL Support & TroubleshootingAnalyze production issues using SQL/PL-SQL identify root cause and work with teams to implement fixes or SQL and PL/SQL scripts for monitoring reporting auditing and operational automation where TuningTroubleshoot and address performance bottlenecks at database/application tiers; optimize SQL queries and database objects to improve throughput and response time. Support performance analysis for concurrent processing and database workload (identify heavy queries/jobs and propose remediation)BI Publisher / Reporting SupportSupport BI Publisher report execution issues and data correctness problems by tracing report queries dependencies and output issuesCoordinate with report developers/functional owners for changes scheduling and deployment of reporting fixes. Technical Lead & Environment ManagementProvide technical coordination across DEV/TEST/UAT/PROD for deployments and fixes (environment readiness promotion support post-deployment validation). Maintain runbooks SOPs and technical documentation; support knowledge transfer and standardization of operational Skills & Experience (3 4 Years)Must Have3 4 years of experience in Oracle Database administration in enterprise environments (preferably supporting ERP/EBS workloads).Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills for troubleshooting scripting and query optimization. Experience with performance tuning (SQL tuning database performance analysis capacity/performance troubleshooting)Exposure to BI Publisher support (report execution troubleshooting data validation coordination with dev teams). Good to HaveExposure to EBS technical ecosystem concepts (concurrent processing integrations touchpoints) through support workFamiliarity with ITSM processes (incident/problem/change) in AMS or production support Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration (DBA).- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.- A 15 years full time education is required.
