Main purpose of role
Themain purpose of the Security Operations Manager role is to managesecurity operations across Grosvenor Family Office and Family locations ensuring strict confidentiality whileupholding the highest standardsproceduresandleadership.
Responsibilities
The Security Operations Manageris responsibleforthe successful management maintenance anddeployment of security systemsequipment and personnel across Grosvenor Family Office.
Direct managementof security operationsin linewith the securitystrategy
Conduct Team Leader reviews and Officer mentoring
Timely andPositive communication to the Head ofSecurity
Operational and departmental financialand budgetaryplanning andconsiderationsutilisingthe relevant financial systems
Stakeholdermanagementof suppliersand contractors
Contract managementand job sheet reviews/auditing
Responsible for thesecurity maintenancemanagementprogram
The management of alltechnicalsecurity systemsupdatesandreplacements
Upholdingand monitoring ofdepartmentalHealth & Safety responsibilities
ManagingGDPRand data protectionconsiderations including individualand teamresponsibilities andcompliance
Planningand management of the department training requirements
Management of the security SharePoint foldersSOPsandPolicydocuments
Liaison with thelocal Cheshire police service and Rural police teams
To continuously develop and improve
To be flexible andadaptableto support the businessoperational needs
Tocomply withcompany policy and best practice in security legal and regulatory compliance
To carry out duties within the relevant legislationat all timesand be familiar with the terms of all current legislation relevant to the role
To complete any other rolespecificresponsibilitiesas highlighted by the Head of Securityfrom time to time
Essential skillsattributesand values
Considerable experience and a proven track record working within an operational securityenvironment
Experiencein security management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels
A positive and professional role modelwith strong values
Proactivemaintenance management experience in technical security systems and equipment
Must haveexceptional problem-solving skills
Experience inoperationally supportingemergency response plans
Good levelof knowledge in Microsoft applicationsincluding OutlookPowerPointand Excel

The role holder will occasionallybe requiredto travel and work at our other Rural Estates
The role will require occasionalnightweekendand Bank Holiday work
This role holder will be on call and able to respond to out of hours emergencies or requests
