Process Quality Engineer

Supervise the adherence to the Plant Quality System in the process areas. Coordinate process data and trend analysis to define improvement actions. Mange Quality Inspectors and collaborate as support in the problem resolution with other support functions. Also participates actively in new product introduction activities related with his area.

Collaborate on Kaizen event; 1 per year (at least) through TKE platform focused on achieving CPU 0.30 and Int PPM 56k AOP targets.
Responsible to ensure IATF standards during daily Gemba and LSW execution on shopfloor in order to get 0 major and 0 minor non conformities during internal and external audits; once per year.
Responsible to execute LPA audits according to LPA schedule; 1 per month to prevent customer claims and achieve less than 8 External PPM.
Responsible of daily tracking and communicate on his/her respective OPS Tier meeting the key quality metrics: Internal PPM CPU (Scrap Rate) and defect pareto to ensure OPS accountability and achieve CPU 0.30 and Int PPM 56K AOP targets.
Responsible to define action plan when metrics are in red for 3 consecutive days (INT PPM CPU) and present them on Weekly INT PPM/CPU meetings with Process Quality Leader.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor degree on Industrial Engineering or related areas required
Experienced quality engineer or complementary skills. 1 year minimum.
Usage of Six sigma tools green belt preferred.
Knowledge on Automotive standard IATF 16949
English language competency is required
Knowledgeable of product manufacturing processes.
Six Sigma Green-belt preferred;
Knowledge of quality systems & standards e.g. ISO/TS 16949
Strong communicator externally and internally
Motivates and influences others without direct authority.
Well organized to manage multiple competing priorities in parallel.
