Job Summary

Locum Physician - Orthopedic Surgery in London KY

Join a dedicated team at Saint Joseph Medical Group where we are seeking locum support for our Orthopedics department starting on May 11 2026. Our facility located in Londons serene environment provides a comprehensive range of services ensuring excellent patient care.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide 24-hour on-call coverage for orthopedic surgery needs.
Perform general orthopedic procedures in a hospital setting.
Conduct outpatient clinic services on Wednesdays.
Collaborate with a support staff including a CMA and OR personnel.
Handle admissions and consultations managing 10-15 cases per day.
Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records.

Qualifications:

Board Certified in Orthopedics Required
Valid Kentucky State License Required
Completion of residency and/or fellowship in Orthopedics Required
BLS and DEA certification Highly Preferred
Availability for the full stretch of assigned dates Required
Clean malpractice and background check Required for emergency privileges

License and Certification Requirements:

Board certification in Orthopedics
Current Kentucky State License
Current BLS and DEA certifications preferred during credentialing
