Role Summary
We are looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead software delivery and system integrations across our technical portfolios. You will own the functional project governance and delivery for a direct team of developers ensuring high-impact technical solutions serve our major enterprise clients in the Chicago (CST) region. Your mission is to bridge the gap between complex business requirements and technical execution driving continuous improvement and agile delivery within Softobiz
Project Governance & Technical Delivery
- Lead the end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC) for key client projects and system integrations.
- Manage a direct team of developers and technical consultants ensuring high-quality output and adherence to project timelines.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation including functional requirements status reports and risk mitigation plans.
- Monitor project budgets and resource allocations to ensure delivery remains within approved scopes.
Stakeholder & Client Management
- Own the relationship with stakeholders in the Chicago time zone facilitating regular status updates and alignment sessions.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications that the technical team can execute accurately.
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and gather feedback to drive iterative system improvements.
Process Improvement & Strategic Alignment
- Identify bottlenecks in current delivery workflows and design functional strategies to improve system efficiency.
- Implement standard project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum) tailored to our development cycles.
- Mentor junior team members to ensure professional growth and consistent delivery standards across the team.

- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 12 years of experience in technical project management. (Hands-on experience with ERP implementation or optimization is preferred).
- Preferred Certifications: PMP CSM

- Communication: Exceptional ability to lead client-facing calls with stakeholders in Chicago (CST).
- Adaptability: Comfortable working shifted hours to ensure overlap with the US Central Time zone.
