Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified School Psychologist to support students in an elementary school setting. The role focuses on evaluating student needs addressing academic and social-emotional challenges and collaborating with educators and families to implement effective intervention strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Diagnose learning behavioral and emotional challenges
- Develop and implement individualized intervention and support plans
- Collaborate with teachers parents and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in the Response to Intervention (RTI) process
- Provide recommendations to support student success in academic and social settings
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports
Required Qualifications:
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychology endorsement Required
- Strong assessment diagnostic and intervention planning skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in elementary school settings (Early Childhood through Grade 8)
- Familiarity with RTI frameworks and school-based intervention models
