We are seeking an experienced Project Officer (at the rank of Assistant Technical Manager) to join the Faculty of Dentistry in organising our 45th Anniversary celebrations.
The Role
The appointee will play a key role in planning coordinating and implementing a series of publicity and celebratory activities for the Facultys 45th Anniversary including but not limited to:
- Planning organising and executing celebratory events and promotional activities;
- Developing and leading multi-channel publicity campaigns across digital social and print media;
- Preparing marketing and promotional materials such as publications social media posts website news brochures and newsletters;
- Managing invitations correspondences travel arrangements for guests donors alumni and faculty members;
- Hosting and coordinating visits for guests media representatives and external stakeholders;
- Providing secretarial support to the organising committee;
- Overseeing logistics and operational arrangement including venue setup registration catering technical support budget management procurement and vendor coordination; and
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Occasional work outside regular office hours may be required.
Qualifications and Qualities
- A Bachelors degree with at least 5 years of relevant post-qualification working experience preferably in event management;
- Strong project management organisational and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders;
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities;
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua); and
- Proficiency in MS Word Excel and PowerPoint.

What We Offer
The appointment will be made on a fixed-term full-time contract for 2 years and commence as soon as possible. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary. Other benefits include annual leave and medical benefits.
