Navitas Healthcare LLC isa dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher for a middle school setting. This role involves working with a manageable caseload of approximately 13 students and providing both push-in and pull-out instructional support to meet diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Provide push-in and pull-out instructional support based on student needs
Collaborate with general education teachers staff and parents
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
Adapt lesson plans to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
Maintain a structured inclusive and positive classroom environment
Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations
Qualifications:
Active New Jersey Instructional License required
Certification in Middle School Special Education required
Must be highly qualified in ELA and/or Math
Previous middle school experience preferred
Strong communication organizational and teamwork skills
