CP Trialing Manager
Job Summary
The CP Trialing Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping product performance validation and guiding data-driven decision-making across multiple crops and geographies. This position is responsible for designing and executing scientifically robust field trials through geographic distributions ensuring operational excellence and maintaining the highest standards of data accuracy and protocol compliance. By leading and developing field teams leveraging innovative technologies and fostering cross-functional collaboration the role ensures that trial outcomes translate into actionable insights for product development regulatory approvals and commercial strategy. The CP Trialing Manager also drives efficient resource utilization maintains budget discipline and strengthens organizational capabilities through effective communication training and knowledge-sharing platforms. Ultimately this role ensures that high-quality credible trial data supports portfolio success strengthens market confidence and accelerates the delivery of new product introductions to growers.
- Strategically plan and design seasonal trial programs across multiple crops and locations through Bio-balancing
- Implement comprehensive trial protocols adhering to scientific standards
- Optimize trial layouts for statistical validity and resource efficiency
- Establish clear timelines and milestones for each trial phase
- Lead and mentor trial execution teams
- Facilitate regular team training sessions on:
- Crop agronomy fundamentals
- Protocol compliance
- Safety procedures
- Data collection methods
- Build technical capabilities through Back to Basics training programs
- Ensure precise application of treatments and accurate pest/disease scoring
- Maintain rigorous safety standards and protocol adherence
- Drive continuous improvement in trial precision and efficiency
- Allocate to trials to key geographics according to the pest availability and commercial viability.
- Supervise EzCap data entry and validation
- Ensure timely and accurate data collection
- Coordinate with data analysts for proper data transfer
- Regular visits to local trial sites
- Maintain comprehensive trial documentation
- Generate quality reports and analysis
- Build strong relationships with internal teams:
- Product Biology
- Regulatory Affairs
- Portfolio Leads
- Marketing & Sales
- Manage and delivery of annual trial budgets
- Track and report trial expenditures
- Optimize resource allocation
- Ensure cost-effective trial execution
- Implement new data collection technologies
- Enhance trial precision through technological solutions
- Develop and standardize operating procedures
- Driving digital transformation initiatives
- Create compelling storytelling for profiling projects
- Organize virtual field tours for global & regional teams
- Actively participate in PDC and PLT forums
Qualifications :
- Masters degree in agriculture Plant Protection or related field
- Minimum 5-7 years experience in agricultural research/trials
- Strong background in experimental design and statistical analysis
