The Human Resources Division (HRM) provides strategic and operational support to ensure WFP attracts develops and retains a highly capable and diverse workforce in line with its global mandate. Within HRM the Young Talent Unit leads the design and implementation of programmes that bring earlycareer professionals into WFP including Fellows Interns JPOs and other talent pipeline initiatives. The Unit works closely with donors universities internal HR teams and hiring managers to strengthen entrylevel pathways and ensure a highquality experience for young professionals. It also supports outreach programme development data analysis and system improvements to contribute to a more agile and inclusive talent ecosystem across WFP.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Support the Universities Outreach Initiative aimed at strengthening and expanding the Fellowship Programme including identifying engagement with new academic partners and institutions.
2. Develop communication materials and content (presentations briefs outreach materials and updates) to enhance the Young Talent Units engagement with both internal and external stakeholders.
3. Contribute to the automation project for Terms of Reference (TORs) by supporting the streamlining and collection of TORs to donors and relevant stakeholders.
4. Support the development and implementation of feedback mechanisms to collect insights from Young Talent participants during and after their engagement with WFP ensuring continuous programme improvement.
5. Assist in talent development initiatives by engaging with various stakeholders across WFP to understand capacity needs and contribute to designing suitable solutions and tools.
6. Compile and analyse data to support accurate and timely reporting contributing to an organizationwide overview of HR activities that strengthens decisionmaking and ensures consistent information flow to stakeholders.
7. Conduct basic data analysis under the guidance of the HR Officer to support ongoing projects contribute to process improvements and enhance operational efficiency within the unit.
8. Perform other related duties as required supporting the overall objectives of the Young Talent Unit and the HR Division.

STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Be a Masters student or a graduate in HR management project management international development or related fields from a recognized university;
Excellent written and spoken English is required (level C).
Strong communication planning and writing skills

TRAINING COMPONENTS
Throughout the assignment selected candidates will have access to the WFP online learning platform (WeLearn). On-job-training will be provided to the fellow during the assignment period.


LEARNING ELEMENTS
By the end of the assignment the selected Fellow is expected to have achieved the following:
Developed a solid understanding of WFPs operations mandate and organizational structure with particular insight into how HR contributes to programme delivery.
Gained comprehensive knowledge of WFPs Young Talent and HR Talent Programmes including their objectives processes and linkages to broader workforce planning.
Enhanced exposure to and engagement with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Strengthened skills in project management data analysis communication and coordination through hands-on participation in ongoing projects and initiatives within the Young Talent Unit.


TYPE OF ASSIGNMENT
This opportunity is particularly well-suited for students or recent graduates seeking practical experience in an international organization. It offers valuable exposure to WFPs operations and the chance to contribute meaningfully to its mission.
The selected candidate will receive IT equipment and training material; however financial compensation and medical coverage are not provided by WFP. Applicants may seek alternative funding opportunities such as university grants or external scholarships to support their assignment.
