Job Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is an experienced and dynamic Nurse Supervisor to oversee clinical operations support nursing staff and enhance patient care quality in a fast-paced healthcare setting. This role requires strong leadership clinical expertise and a commitment to improving patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care
Collaborate with nurse managers to assess unit performance and implement improvements
Monitor patient care standards and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
Develop and implement programs to improve patient care and staff performance
Identify areas for improvement and support corrective action planning
Maintain and manage record-keeping systems including tracking incidents and documentation
Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to clinical protocols
Promote a safe efficient and compliant work environment
Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and leadership
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Nursing required (Masters preferred)
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York required
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
Minimum 7 years of nursing experience including 5 years in a supervisory role
Strong leadership organizational and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
