Job Summary

Overview

The Inspector at Cook Winston-Salem is responsible toinspect products according to regulated procedures.

Responsibilities

Inspect products and or components per detailed specifications and/ordrawings for quality which includes but is not limited to the following:
- Visually dimensionally and functionally inspect product
- Determine whether the product is acceptable using prescribedstandards
- Complete all necessary documentation
Assist in training new employees in the department
Perform daily and weekly cleaning
Perform other duties as assigned
Ability to read write and understand product specifications drawingswork orders labels and quality forms written in English
Ability to use a variety of testing equipment including small measuringdevices

Maintain regular and punctual attendance
Must maintain company quality and quantity standards

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 18 years of age

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or withoutreasonable accommodations
Majority of work is conducted in a controlled environment
Visual Acuity to work with small parts

Majority of day is spent sitting and walking within various departments
Ability to occasionally lift up to 10lbs 90% of day; remaining 10% ableto co-carry up to 35lbs
Ability to perform fine manipulation with hands e.g. grasping pinchingpulling
