As an Intern Accounts Payable supporting the China region you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. You will ensure our accounting processes deliver exceptional impact through meticulous document handling timely invoice processing and effective communication in Mandarin helping our global business units maintain the financial health required to deliver care to patients.

The Opportunity

• You manage the full cycle of AP documentation from receiving and sorting to barcoding and pre-archiving ensuring all records are ready for further processing.

• You validate and process PO and contract-based invoices Non-PO invoices and prepayments with high attention to detail.

• You support financial accuracy by reviewing supplier open items investigating non-successful payments and performing balance sheet account reconciliations.

• You contribute to month-end excellence by participating in closing activities and preparing operational KPI reports based on affiliate requirements.

• You act as a bridge for our China stakeholders handling internal and external queries in Mandarin and building effective partnerships with vendors.

• You engage in continuous improvement by supporting system integration testing participating in team projects and initiating process enhancements.

Who You Are

• You are currently pursuing or hold a Degree or Diploma in Finance Accountancy Banking Economics Business Administration or a related field.

• You are fluent in Mandarin (Mandatory) as this role specifically supports our affiliates and vendors in China; you are also proficient in English.

• You have a strong interest in corporate finance and accounting with a desire to learn best practices in a global shared services environment.

• You have a working knowledge of MS Office tools; familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is a significant advantage.

• You are a proactive communicator who enjoys resolving queries and working collaboratively within a Buddy System framework.

• You are available for a minimum internship duration of six (6) months.
