As a Bilingual Contracts Manager you will provide legal and business expertise in the evaluation development and negotiation of commercial transactions contracts proposals and quotes while ensuring compliance with current policies and procedures and minimizing contractual risk.
Your role:
Work with a team of Contracts Managers and interface with Legal Risk Finance Sales and Global businesses Services team as well as other internal Philips customers and negotiate directly with external customers to create contract solutions that minimize risk and provide value to Philips and customers.
Partner with field personnel and internal departments to evaluate and negotiate contracts for sales/service (i.e. capital consumables Software as Service (SaaS) service consulting etc.) as well as other related documents. Also provide dupport to the customer fulfillment and proposal team for RFPs RFIs and RFQs.
Recommend and implement improvements of policies and processes to ensure proposals and contractual documents align with the companys business controls policies and procedures. Additionally maintain contract files and update contract activity in Salesforce (SFDC) and other workflow tools. Advise field teams and management of contractual rights obligations and provide interpretation of terms and conditions identifying solutions.
Youre the right fit if:
You have acquired 5 years of experience drafting reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
You have a Bachelors degree (required) and Paralegal Certified Contract Management (CCM) or other contract management certification.
Your skills include Microsoft Office; with the ability to learn and adapt to other programs such as Salesforce and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools. Lean methodology project management and solid negotiation skills are also required.
Bilingual French and English skills both written and verbal are required.
You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
You are an excellent communicator at many levels with strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills. You are also a well-organized multi-tasker skilled at working in a fast paced high-energy deadline-driven environment establishing priorities gaining cooperation through persuasion to find solutions and building consensus across functional areas while managing various projects and setting priorities to achieve outcomes.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the companys facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the companys main facilities generally at the customers or suppliers locations.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position is $73500 to $115500. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills experience business needs geographical location and internal equity.
In addition other compensation such as an annual incentive bonus sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. At Philips it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
