India
Revantages India operations including a Center of Excellence in Gurugram have been managed through partnerships with service providers like Wipro. Revantage has set up its global capability center in Bengaluru (GCC). As a key leadership role Revantage is looking to appoint an Assistant Vice President in India to support the set-up of India unit and subsequently support both the expansion of legal offshoring teams in India and the delivery of best in class legal support services as part of the global Revantage Legal operation.
Payroll Operations:
Process payroll data including new hires terminations salary changes and timekeeping information for its accuracy.
Process termination relocation and other special payrolls in keeping with company policies federal state and local regulations.
Review and reconcile payroll reports to identify and resolve discrepancies or errors.
Conduct investigation into potential errors and plan administration issues including appropriate documentation and recommendations on necessary actions to resolve.
Collaborate with HR Finance and other departments to ensure accurate payroll data and resolve payroll-related inquiries.
Notify the Treasury team of wire funding needed for payroll and provide reports of upcoming payroll amounts for cash flow management.
Liaison with third party processing company for timely and accurate filing payment and reconciliation of all agencies required reporting.
Subject matter experts and point of contact for timekeeping tax garnishment payroll and time off program questions for employees and managers.
Provide a consistent high level of customer service and escalate as needed to seek resolution.
Workday Payroll Management:
Serve as the subject matter expert on Workday payroll and timekeeping and functionality.
Utilize Workday to manage payroll processes including payroll setup data entry and payroll calculations.
Collaborate with HR technology team to modify and test any system enhancements integrations and upgrades related to payroll processing.
Troubleshoot system issues provide end-user support and coordinate with Workday ADP and PEO (Insperity) support teams as needed.
Compliance and Reporting:
Stay up to date on payroll regulations tax laws and compliance requirements.
Ensure accurate and timely filing of payroll-related reports and tax filings.
Prepare and distribute employee payroll statements and reports such as earnings summaries tax forms and year-end documentation.
Coordinate with auditors and respond to payroll-related audit inquiries.
Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll information and adhere to data privacy and security standards.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiency through automation and system enhancements.
Implement best practices and standardized procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency in payroll operations.
Continuously monitor and evaluate payroll practices and systems recommending improvements to enhance payroll accuracy compliance and employee experience.
Continuously creating and updating SOP.
What You Bring To The Role
Required:
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related fields.
Minimum of 3 years of multi-state payroll and tax experience
Minimum of 1 year experience in WorkDay Timekeeping and Payroll highly preferred
Minimum of 1 year experience in ADP Smart Compliance highly preferred
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders including team members management external parties
Highly proficient with Excel (Vlookups Pivot tables Formulas) PowerPoint and Word
Self-motivated with the ability to excel and be flexible in fast-paced ever-changing environments
Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to details.
Extensive knowledge of applicable state and federal employment wage & hour and labor laws
Preferred:
Experience working in shared service environment or with outsourced service providers
Experience in Workday ADP and PEO platforms
